Taking inventory (written)

  • Who are you?
  • What do you like?
  • What do you dislike?
  • What are you good at?
  • What are your weaknesses?
  • What is your training so far?
  • What doors have been opened?

 

Obtaining Counsel

  • Proverbs 15:22
  • Proverbs 24:6
  • Proverbs 11:14

 

How

  • Ask your parents
  • Discuss your thoughts with your friends
  • Ask your elder or pastor.
  • If you are close to a teacher, ask them where they see your strengths

 

Seeking God’s Counsel. (not casually)

  • Now go to the Lord. Find out what He has to tell you.
  • Write everything He tells you down.
  • When you believe You have heard His heart for you, write down everything that made you believe it was God.

 

Believe and you receive.

Remain Flexible  

  • Commit your works to the LORD And your plans will be established. Proverbs 16:3
  • Prepare plans by consultation, And make war by wise guidance. Proverbs 20:18
  • The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9
