1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV personalized
|
This sword practice is very effective against the “there’s no benefit to diligently seek God” lie. (See Hebrews 11:6) This lie is used by the enemy to dissuade you from pursuing all that God wants for you. If you could believe that God infinitely rewards those who diligently seek him - you would begin to seek him much more diligently. This lie encourages you to be lukewarm. When you are tempted to coast, bring this sword thrust into play. Remember. When you are coasting you can only be going down hill.
